Meet the Artists
Jeff Perdziak
Jeff has always been creating artwork for as long as he can remember. He started off drawing
superheroes and comic books as a young kid and throughout his teenage years. After high school, Jeff
spent a year at Rochester Institute of Technology taking foundation art courses before moving back to
Buffalo to grow his art career.
In Buffalo, Jeff began a job at American Color where he colored and distributed the Sunday and Daily
Comics and soon began coloring Marvel comics. He spent eleven years there learning a lot about art
and printing.
After American Color, Jeff moved on to New Buffalo Shirt Factory where he designed t-shirts for
musicians like The Rolling Stones, Jason Aldean, BB King, Shania Twain and Blake Shelton for
thirteen years.
Now Jeff does artwork for Hit Parade. Custom painting over 200 baseballs, countless sketch cards,
football and baseball helmets, as well as Hockey Sticks and pucks. Jeff's also painted murals at our
Dave and Adam's retail store.
Throughout the years, Jeff has always continued to pursue his own artwork and has finished many
projects such as:
• Illustrations for eleven children's books
• Murals throughout the Buffalo community
• Several logos for Buffalo companies
• Countless portraits
• Buffalo Marathon designs for the 25th anniversary in 2026
Nick Cherre
Nick has been drawing for as long as he can remember. As a child, he filled pages with cartoons inspired by the
offbeat humor of Cracked magazine, the expressive animation of Ren & Stimpy, and the comic-book energy of the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those early influences helped shape his interest in character design, visual
storytelling, and humorous illustration.
After high school, Nick studied Fine Arts at Daemen College, specializing in illustration and minoring in graphic
design. His education allowed him to develop both his traditional drawing skills and his ability to create artwork for
commercial applications.
Over the years, Nick has worked across a wide range of styles and formats. He created a line of illustrated T-shirts
that reimagined memorable characters and moments from television and film through a distinctly Buffalo lens,
often dressing the characters in Buffalo Bills apparel. The collection's best-selling design, Thank You for Being a
Fan, featured the cast of The Golden Girls celebrating their Buffalo fandom.
Nick is also the creator of Cherry Bombs, a satirical comic strip that takes a light, cynical look at everyday life and
contemporary culture. His other work includes pet portraits, murals, logo design, children's book illustration, and
experimental pieces created through paint-pour techniques.
Throughout his career, Nick has completed a variety of creative projects, including:
• Pet portraits and commissioned artwork
• Live participation in community events such as ChalkFest
• A mural on Niagara Street at the Crescendo Lofts building
• Illustrations for a children's book created for Kelkenberg Farm
• An illustrated logo and label design for Kelkenberg Farm's apple cider
• Original comic strips, T-shirt graphics, and character illustrations
Nick draws inspiration from both Surrealism and Impressionism, combining imaginative ideas, expressive characters, humor, and a strong sense of visual storytelling. Whether he is working on a mural, portrait, comic, or commercial design, he approaches each project with the same goal: to create artwork that feels distinctive, engaging, and full of personality.
